FOUNDER AND MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Ebony Evans, LPC-S, NCC, M.Ed

I'm Ebony Evans, a proud New Orleans native. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Education from the University of New Orleans in 2011, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2016 after completing extensive fieldwork. I also supervise provisional counselors as an LPC Board-approved supervisor.

In 2017, I opened Blossoming Minds to provide professional mental health services with a focus on accessibility and community awareness. I’m an active member of the Louisiana Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and The Krewe of Evexia, where I support wellness initiatives.

When I’m not working, I’m committed to my own health journey through regular exercise, meal prepping, and spending quality time with family and friends. Fitness is my favorite self-care activity, but I also enjoy movies, music, and dancing as part of a balanced, fulfilling life.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and identity development, with a special commitment to supporting the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.

My treatment style is creative, insightful, warm, and empathetic. I want to help you reach your goals, allowing a platform for you to feel understood, and to (re)discover your personal strengths.

When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors, exploring new music, and enjoying the vibrant culture of our city. My approach is warm, empathetic, and creative, allowing space for you to rediscover your strengths and thrive.
